CREATIVE CONSULTANCY
Wherever I’ve worked, my brief has been to transform and supercharge the creative approach and outputs, to deliver disruptive, outstanding work from consumer to corporate; identify and nurture talent; win new business and win awards.
Despite moving upwards in seniority and job title, and the advent of new channels from social media content to influencers, I’ve always been hands-on and sticking to a method of working, with clear creative principles.

Unlike some creative leads, who simply critique and berate the efforts of their creative and account teams, I have always been driven by solving the problem and coming up with ‘the idea’ and working collaboratively to bring it to life.
Working as the first and sole creative at MHP, it went from being a traditional, consultancy-led PR agency to ranked in ‘The Top 10 Most Creative Agencies in the World’ (Holmes Report, 2017). In just two years, MHP went from zero PR Week Awards in five years to winning five PR Week Awards in single year, and winning a slew of Cannes Lions, including one for Creative Effectiveness.

In my final year at boutique indie agency COW, we were the most awarded agency at the 2023 PR Week Awards. (If anyone asks the secret to so many awards, it’s because I also write and produce the entries).
I left agency land due to a serious family illness in 2024. Now I’m back. I’m available to work three days a week with senior teams and creatives to help shape and enhance their creative culture, including ideas generation, mentoring, awards planning and new business.
