Coral wanted a stunt to celebrate the anticipation of a new Premier League football season. Problem was there wasn’t any. When the brief came in it was during the London 2012 Olympics and football chatter was non-existent.

The one nugget of possible major news would be the shock departure of Robin Van Persie from Arsenal to Manchester United. Would he stay? Would he go?

I decided to put my money (well, Coral’s money) on him leaving with a heist-style stunt at the Emirates. The COW team and I created and parked a ‘Removal Van Persie’ on the outside the iconic stadium, capturing content with the seconds available before baffled security went into overdrive and we drove off. Then we waited. And waited.

Six days later, the second news broke that Man Utd had signed RVP, we dropped the content and owned the story – with fans wondering how we’d been so quick to respond.
